brightest moon of the year....

Little Man by moonlight
That's Little Man, standing in the moonlight tonight. He was amazed at how bright it was outside and insisted we take a photo. The moon is bright enough to cast shadows on the houses behind him! There's a streetlamp to the right of this photo, but the moon is lighting his shirt, the left side of his face and everything else...I shot this at f2.8, 800 ISO, 3.5, no flash at all. Amazing. LM also took a photo of the moon itself:
Little Man took a photo of the brightest full moon of the year...
